Surgeon
Dr. Morgan grew up working on cattle ranches in Montana. He attended Montana State University for his undergraduate work, and then received his DVM from the University of Missouri in 2002. He did a one year internship at Pioneer Hospital in Oakdale, California, where he focused on surgery and lameness. He then moved to Colorado and was an associate veterinarian at Littleton Large Animal Clinic for 3 years.
He moved to Iowa in 2006 and completed a 3 year equine surgery residency at Iowa State University in 2009, becoming a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. He provides lameness and surgery services for our clinic including colic surgery, upper-airway surgery, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, ophthalmic surgeries, and fracture repairs. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, team roping, and being outdoors.
